IT Services Control Technician
NEOGOV is seeking an IT Services Control Technician to support the District’s technology initiatives. The role involves asset management, troubleshooting hardware and software systems, and providing client support.

Responsibilities
Organizes and performs inventories of technology materials, ensuring accurate records of activities
Maintains and verifies records against database files for accurate information and corrects errors as appropriate
Produces, compiles, and maintains records, lists, logs, forms, files, and reports from system databases
Establishes procedures related to ordering, stocking, and storing of materials and supplies
Consults with District Information Technology’s technical staff for troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment, installation, replacement, upgrades, and reconfiguration of equipment
Tracks and facilitates technology work orders, equipment transfers, and inventory using online, web-based database systems
Assists clients in resolving problems over the phone or online, including troubleshooting basic hardware and software system issues
Provide support to staff in the use of asset management systems, work orders, and software applications
Assists with asset refresh projects; oversees and/or updates asset management systems; facilitates and/or oversees the delivery of assets
Provides support to staff in the use of asset management systems and related peripheral equipment, work orders, and software applications
Modifies and formats records and reports including surplus equipment, salvage lists, and supply logs
Provides information to the supervisor relative to inventory, orders, system upgrades, and other needs as necessary
Maintain logs, records, and reports regarding service desk operations, repairs, service, and response time
Communicates with District personnel and various outside partners to exchange information and resolve issues or concerns; answers telephone calls; prepares routine correspondence
Travels throughout the District to complete pick-ups and deliveries as necessary
Performs job related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Three (3) years of paid experience in general inventory operations, performing computerized inventory control and/or supporting computer hardware/software systems
High school graduation or the equivalent
An appropriate, valid California driver license and auto liability insurance
Preferred
Associate degree or 60 semester units in computer technology preferred
