The successful candidate will manage a caseload of commercial general liability claims, including litigation with moderate to severe damages, and will be responsible for maintaining relationships with customers and partners.

Responsibilities
Effectively manage, investigate, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to severe and complex General Liability claims and litigation to a successful resolution
Claims include premises liability, assault and battery, excess/umbrella, products and completed operations, New York Labor Law, property damage and bodily injury
Drafting coverage letters for management review
Managing vendors involved with claim files, ie Independent Adjusters, Defense Attorneys, and Coverage Counsel
Completing Large Loss notices as required
Qualification
Required
General Liability experience, 10 to 15 years preferred
Experience with E&S and multi-jurisdictional claims
Experience with Excess GL coverage
Experience with SIR accounts
Prior experience directing defense and coverage counsel
Prior experience with moderate to complex coverage issues
Proficient in Word
Maintain high level of integrity and trustworthiness
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Problem-solving aptitude
