Administrative Services Coordinator - Children's and Women's Services
University of Iowa Healthcare is looking to hire a 100% Administrative Services Coordinator in the Children's and Women's Services Division. This role provides administrative support for the Director of Children's and Women's Services and includes responsibilities such as coordinating daily office operations, managing staff evaluations, and maintaining web content related to policies and procedures.
Research
Responsibilities
Coordinate daily office operations related to daily schedules and special projects
Coordinate annual staff evaluation processes including sending e-mails for peer reviews, tracking when peer reviews and self-evaluations are completed, and pulling additional data as requested by Director. Schedule appointments, schedule meetings, information requests
Pull budget information from multiple sources into a single spreadsheet for the Director to analyze
Draft Correspondence and announcements and distribute on behalf of leadership
Maintain and update nursing-based web site containing policies and procedures
Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Some (6 months – 1 year) administrative, office coordination or financial experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills. Role models service excellence
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced office environment
Preferred
Ability to analyze data and apply critical thinking skills
Previous experience working in a health care setting
Previous experience working with service excellence/customer focused environment
Knowledge of University of Iowa policies/procedures
