Responsibilities
Establish consistent networking and calling efforts for PE firms, intermediaries and middle market companies to educate them about CAPX
Originate and win debt arrangement mandates through consistent coverage efforts
Represent CAPX at various industry and trade events. Participate in panel discussions, webinars and networking events to promote CAPX
Follow up on and convert relevant leads generated by CAPX corporate marketing efforts
Assist clients in processing deals through CAPX. If appropriate for the engagement type, lead the transaction execution from structuring through credit agreement negotiations
Engage with relevant lenders to facilitate execution of deals on CAPX. Assist clients in responding to underwriting queries and negotiate terms with chosen lenders on client’s behalf
Contribute to CAPX product development efforts by sharing your industry and credit knowledge
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5+ years (ideally 10+ years) of client facing corporate finance experience, including underwriting / credit, capital markets / syndication or originations
Expert level knowledge of key debt origination, underwriting and syndication processes
Detailed understanding of all senior and junior corporate debt products and credit risk management, including asset backed, leveraged and ARR structures
Demonstrable originations track record for corporate financing engagements, either as an originator or as a client facing capital markets professional
Demonstrable knowledge of the legal documentation processes related to various debt instruments
Well established professional networks and relationships with private equity firms, middle-market corporations and intermediaries
Demonstrable history of having led financing transactions as an originator, lead underwriter or syndicator
Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Demonstrable history of having crafted credit pitches and / or deal books. Ability to interact with clients and investors regarding various underwriting and capital markets issues
Bachelor's degree required
Self-motivated, persistent, independent and reliable
Preferred
Knowledge and experience of equity underwriting and equity capital markets preferred but not required
MBA preferred
