Responsibilities
Maintain, optimize, and enhance our existing data infrastructure ensuring high performance and reliability
Develop and optimize ETL processes, ensuring accurate and timely data transformation
You will be point of contact for data-related questions on various initiative-based projects assigned
Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources
Understand business context and support analysts/stakeholders in crafting and standardizing source-of-truth data models/visualization
Promote best practices for data management and ensure adherence to data governance standards
Qualification
Required
Proven ability to manage projects and communicate effectively across teams
A robust understanding of database architecture and data warehousing, with the ability to design and implement effective data storage solutions
Minimum of 5 years' experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence, or similar role, with a proven track record of managing complex data projects
Advanced SQL knowledge, with demonstrated expertise in writing and optimizing complex queries
Hands-on experience in maintaining and optimizing ETL/Orchestration tools such as Airflow, Mage, or Prefect
Proficiency in Python or another data-centric programming language
Preferred
Experience with marketing related data sets
Advanced experience with dbt and git
Familiarity with startups, ecommerce or subscription based businesses
Familiarity with BigQuery and Snowflake
Bonus: experience with GA4 + web analytics
Bonus: experience with Looker, Fivetran, or other data integration platforms
Bonus: interest in the fashion industry, or a passion for fashion
