Responsibilities
Performs daily inspections of HVAC systems including all associated system components
Performs minor repairs to HVAC systems and components as needed
Reports any major malfunctions to direct supervisor
Performs minor repairs and modifications Building plumbing and electrical systems and other equipment. This includes, but not limited to: adding or removing electrical outlets, lighting fixtures, lighting ballast, replacing light bulbs, replacing flush valves on plumbing fixtures and making necessary thermostat adjustments
Performs preventive maintenance to equipment and maintains necessary files and documentation on same. This includes, but not limited to, air filters, lubrication of motors, and shaft bearings
Performs and records monthly inspections of Life Safety components, to include but not limited to: Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lights, Exit Lights, and Fire Doors
