They are seeking a Mechanical / Controls Engineer to design, install, maintain, and improve industrial equipment and material handling systems, while collaborating with various engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities
Procuring and analyzing data in order to recommend process improvements
Improving the safety and function of existing automated systems using industrial controls, software applications and mechanical design
Working together with Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, and Warehouse Management to design material handling systems
Managing installation and commissioning of automated systems and equipment
Supporting maintenance managers and maintenance technicians
Qualification
Required
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, or Computer Engineering
At least 2 years working with industrial machinery
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and schematics
Preferred
PLC and other industrial application programming
Programming including Python, Java, SQL Server
SCADA systems such as Ignition or Kepware
Industrial networking design and troubleshooting
AutoCAD and other drafting tools for design of mechanical and control systems
Thorough documentation and technical writing
Demonstrated leadership ability
Effective communication skills with co-workers, vendors and customers
Demonstrated ability to work well with multiple technical disciplines
Demonstrated adaptability to align personal goals with company objectives
Demonstrated passion and perseverance to meet long term goals
