Responsibilities

Take the lead on a wide range of commercial contracting matters, including reviewing, negotiating, and drafting agreements such as NDAs, MSAs, customer agreements, and IT and technology licenses
Work closely with business stakeholders, providing practical, business-focused guidance on contract-related issues that impact day-to-day operations

Commercial contracting experienceNegotiating agreementsDrafting NDAsMSAsSaaS contracts experienceJ.D. from ABA-accredited schoolProfessional judgmentStanding to practice lawAttention to detailCommunication skillsTime-management skills

Required

8+ years of contracting experience
Extensive commercial contracting experience, including experience reviewing, negotiating, and drafting NDAs, MSAs, customer agreements, and IT licenses
Broad-based experience counseling businesses on a wide range of issues
J.D. and excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
Impeccable time-management, attention to detail, professional judgment, and communication skills
Licensed/Good Standing to practice law for a TN in-house legal department
Outstanding professional references

Preferred

Experience with SaaS and technology-driven contracts
