Responsibilities
Perform the gardening, weeding, planting and general upkeep of the club property with its flowers and greenhouse
Plant and prune ornamental trees and shrubs around property
Perform spring and fall clean-up for Yellowstone Club grounds and adjacent golf course areas
Assist Landscape Maintenance crew with general upkeep of communal club areas
Manual labor including use of shovels, rakes, pruners, blowers during the planting and moving of large ornamental flowerpots and maintaining gardens
Daily watering, weeding, fertilizing, and mulching of gardens and planters throughout the property
Perform hand digging, lifting, and physical work where needed
Operate light maintenance equipment, utility vehicles and light trucks as authorized by horticulturist and Director
Report equipment problems or failure to the equipment manager immediately
Clean and organize the Greenhouse and its equipment daily
Perform other duties as assigned related to landscaping and general gardening throughout the Club
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
Working knowledge of the operation of landscape utility vehicles as well as full-sized pickups
Work outside in varying environmental conditions
Ability to see, hear, smell, and have manual dexterity to use all equipment
Valid State Driver's License
Preferred
Previous landscaping or flower experience preferred but not required
Previous work experience at a resort or club helpful but not required
