Responsibilities

Assist in the design and analysis of structural components for buildings and industrial structures
Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and reports under the guidance of senior staff
Assist in conducting site inspections and field visits to monitor construction activities and verify adherence to design plans
Perform engineering calculations for various structures using a variety of construction materials
Computer modeling of buildings and industrial structures
Design equipment foundations
Determine structural loading for gravity and later force resisting systems
Conduct construction observations
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
0–4 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, which may include internships or co-op positions
Basic knowledge of structural engineering principles, building codes, and construction practices
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with structural analysis software
Strong communication and teamwork skills facilitate collaboration with diverse project stakeholders, helping to integrate structural designs seamlessly with architectural and construction plans
Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without the need for work sponsorship now or in the future
Represent the company in a professional matter
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others
Knowledge of computer technology and specific areas of application
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic travel

Preferred

Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD/BIM software
Familiarity with construction methods and project management practices
Internship or co-op experience in structural engineering or related fields
