Responsibilities
Support hardware engineering team with maintenance, inspection, and documentation
Participate in hands-on troubleshooting and repair activities for mechanical components of hardware systems
Develop and update maintenance procedures and technical documentation for specialized equipment
Qualification
Required
Current Active TS/SCI with CI poly government clearance
The ability to maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Must be pursuing a BS (or higher) degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate standing level by the start of Summer 2026
Ability to troubleshoot hardware errors and provide fixes
Preferred
Coursework or interest in structural mechanics, material science, or mechanical systems design
Familiarity with technical drawings or software such as CAD, solidworks, or similar tools
Experience with hands-on mechanical assembly, fabrication, or maintenance activities
Strong attention to detail and ability follow technical specifications and safety protocols
