New Grad, Entry LevelWinCorp Solutions is seeking an Operations/Materials Generalist to serve as a FULL TIME EMPLOYEE for a metal manufacturing/distribution client located in Chino, CA. The role involves handling customer quoting, materials planning, and vendor communication, while supporting compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
Learn our quoting process and systems and independently handle standard customer quotes within approximately 90 days, escalating complex or unusual cases appropriately
Handle daily materials-related and job-assignment decisions requiring strong logic, math, prioritization, and an understanding of real-world constraints
Support materials planning and purchasing activities with a focus on improving inventory turnover and avoiding preventable issues
Communicate with vendors regarding availability, pricing, lead times, specifications, RFQs, and follow-up; begin forming working vendor relationships under guidance
Develop initial BIS export control compliance procedures and documentation, with guidance, to support compliance with applicable regulations
Supporting customer service by filling in on quoting as needed
Assisting with defined quality-related tasks tied to AS9100 and ISO 9001 systems
Identifying operational breakdowns and helping resolve them before they become recurring problems
Greater ownership of materials planning and purchasing decisions
Defined responsibility for portions of the company’s compliance and quality systems
Increased involvement in operational planning and execution
Broader decision-making authority across the organization
Qualification
Required
MUST HAVE a problem-solving mindset and work ethic
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage time and priorities independently without constant supervision
Comfort operating in environments where problems are not always clearly defined
Willingness to learn a regulated, industrial business from the ground up
Clear and professional communication with vendors, customers, and internal teams
High integrity and discretion due to exposure to sensitive business information
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex work and follow it through to completion
Interest in learning a regulated, industrial business and growing with it over time
Preferred
Background in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, or business operations is helpful but not required
