$29.40/hr - $42.14/hrThe University of California, Davis is seeking a Staff Personnel Assistant to join their Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH) Personnel and Payroll Team. This role provides high-quality front desk and administrative support, managing personnel, payroll, recruitment, and general operations in accordance with university policies.
Responsibilities
55% - Staff and Student Personnel Administration
25% - Aggie Access Security Management
10% - Reception and Customer Service
10% - General Office and Administrative Support
Qualification
Required
Experience with payroll, personnel or human resources
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
Ability to interact professionally with individuals of diverse ages, backgrounds, and cultures in person, via email, and by telephone
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply policies and procedures to real-world situations
Preferred
Experience using UC systems such as UCPath, Ecotime, Aggie Service and Job Builder
Experience providing reception or front-desk services in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of UC Davis policies and procedures
