Responsibilities

Conduct reviews and audits to evaluate structural integrity across assets
Assess structural system maturity, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements
Write clear, actionable reports summarizing findings and improvement actions
Collaborate with teams to ensure follow-through on all audit action items
Monitor contractor and business-partner performance for quality and compliance
Provide technical support during structural incidents and lead root-cause investigations
Support continuous improvement initiatives to advance reliability and integrity standards
Maintain strong communication with sites, partners, and leadership teams

Required

Degree in Civil-Structural Engineering (essential)
Experience supporting or executing structural integrity, engineering audits, or risk-based assessments within large-scale mining and/or oil and gas operations
Operational experience maintaining and assessing existing infrastructure, with exposure to API tank standards and port/marine works highly desirable
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate technical findings into practical actions
Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and escalate concerns appropriately
Ability to travel internationally as required
Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) as will be primarily supporting Latin America and the Caribbean
