The on‑call Consultant provides temporary, as‑needed leadership and operational support to maintain the continuity of communications functions during vacancies or absences in the Communications Director role
This position oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of internal and external communications, ensuring messaging remains accurate, timely, and aligned with unit priorities
The Consultant advises leadership on communication strategy, manages critical information flow, supports media and stakeholder engagement, and ensures that core communication processes, materials, and channels are effectively maintained until permanent leadership is in place
Qualification
Required
Provides a wide variety of consulting services including conference, seminar or workshop design/presentation; operations review and analysis; project design, completion, coordination or management; or related consulting services
Consultants paid on grant funds must be paid on an hourly or daily basis, with a minimum wage of $12.00 per hour
