The role requires strong hands-on experience with Android TV, Fire TV, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose for TV to develop and maintain applications while collaborating closely with various teams.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Android TV & Amazon Fire TV applications
Build TV-focused UI using Jetpack Compose for TV / Leanback
Integrate and optimize video playback (ExoPlayer / Bitmovin or similar)
Handle focus management, D-pad navigation, deep linking, and accessibility
Implement Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVI, and UDF patterns
Work closely with Product, Backend, and DevOps teams
Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD workflows
Qualification
Required
8+ years of Android development (strong TV experience required)
Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow
Android TV & Fire TV ecosystems
Jetpack Compose for TV
Video player integration & DRM
API integration (Ktor or similar)
CI/CD and unit testing
Preferred
OTT / media streaming platforms
Fire TV Voice Search Kit (VSK)
Performance & memory optimization experience
