IT Applications Developer - MMIS

The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is seeking an IT Applications Developer – MMIS to play a key role in developing and supporting the mainframe systems that power critical Medicaid services. Responsibilities

Write, debug, document, and test COBOL/DB2/CICS programs in a mainframe environment
Analyze and resolve production issues
Create detailed system design documents for system enhancement projects
Assist senior application developers in large, complex development projects
Maintain technical documentation

Qualification

Required

Experience, education, or training in coding computer applications

Preferred

Associate's degree in computer programming or similar area

Experience with JCL and CICS
Experience with the software development lifecycle
