Responsibilities
Designing, developing, and optimizing ELT processes to ensure the smooth flow of data across systems
Maintaining and improving data pipelines using tools like dlt and dbt inside of Snowflake
Validating and monitoring practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency
Collaborating with teams to integrate data sources and enable real-time data processing
Conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives
Building dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Sigma
Analyzing large datasets to provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders
Performing statistical analysis and modeling to support business needs
Working cross-functionally across PDQ teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Continuously monitor and improve database performance, ensuring data is accessible and reliable
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus
5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or a similar role in a data-driven environment (SaaS B2B experience a plus!)
Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and databases
Strong proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets and performing data manipulation
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, R, or Scala for data analysis and engineering
Familiarity with ELT best practices and tools
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Omni, Metabase)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services (e.g., Snowflake, Trino)
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders
