Senior LevelExpedite Talent Solutions is seeking a contractual Adabas / Natural software developer for the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT). The role involves analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting Motor Vehicle mainframe applications, as well as troubleshooting and maintaining existing code and applications.

Responsibilities
Write code, revise and adapt existing code, troubleshoot and resolve defects
Maintain and support applications to keep them performing in accordance with technical and functional specifications
Perform system tests and debug programs according to results of system test and user acceptance test
Assess ideas and suggestions for system upgrades or improvements, evaluate and recommend development tools and software upgrades/enhancements, as well as provide effective on-site support as needed
Participate in product design reviews to verify that design meets quality standards and functional/technical requirements and will document all work for future reference
Prepare end-user documentation and manuals as well as status updates to management and users

Proficient in NATURAL Software Development
Proficient in ADABAS database development
Proficient in TSO
Proficient in JCL
Proficient in FTP
Proficient in Cobol
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
Experience preparing technical documentation
Good oral and written communication skills
Preferred
SQL Server database experience
