Administrative Assistance – Security Badging (Contingent Worker)

Responsibilities

Demonstrates excellent spoken and written English communication skills
Uses standard computer systems and devices to share information across departments
Greets staff, visitors, and vendors courteously, both in person and via telephone
Verifies requests for new or replacement ID badges with department leadership to prevent fraud or unauthorized access
Assesses access requirements and assigns only the level of access necessary for the badge holder’s role
Maintains working knowledge of the badging system, including programming and troubleshooting
Designs special-purpose badges as needed for events or unique operational requirements
Promotes a service-oriented mindset focused on professionalism and responsiveness
Proactively addresses customer concerns, incidents, or service issues in a timely manner
Adheres strictly to all medical center policies and procedures
Practices safe work habits and maintains professional conduct standards
Reports on time, prepared for each shift, and in proper attire
Attends all required department meetings
Completes all assigned training modules within required timelines
Maintains baseline competencies and seeks additional training opportunities when available

Required

High school diploma or state-recognized GED required
Strong customer service experience
Flexibility with job duties and scheduling requirements
