Responsibilities
Prepares Monthly Balance Sheets and bank reconciliations
Assists in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring transactions are in accordance with GAAP, and internal policies and procedures are followed
Assist with all year-end tasks associated with timely completion of financial statements, tax returns, Medicare, and Medicaid cost reports
Participates in development of annual operating and capital budgets
Assists with work papers required for all Medicare and/or Medicaid Cost Report(s) submissions
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Attention to detail and accuracy/proficiency in data entry required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Entry level to 2 years work or internship related experience
Preferred
Ability to learn Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and PCC preferred
Experience within the nursing homes or healthcare sector preferred
