Responsibilities
Designing a platform pattern for online inference services that need low latency and safe degradation
Building a “one command” path from repo → production with instrumentation, ownership, and security baked in
Creating shared primitives for feature/config rollout (auditability, safety checks, fast rollback)
Hardening the software supply chain: provenance, policies, secrets hygiene, and safe build systems
Building internal tooling that turns incidents into boring routines: good runbooks, good signals, fast isolation
Qualification
Required
You operate at Principal level: you set direction, unblock teams, and ship systems that scale
Strong background in platform engineering / SRE-adjacent engineering (developer experience counts)
You're a builder: hands-on coding in Python and Golang
Deep understanding of cloud-native engineering: reliability patterns, networking, security/IAM, observability
Comfortable in high-growth ambiguity
Preferred
Bonus: experience supporting ML platforms, online inference, event-driven systems, or distributed workloads
