Temporary Conference Assistant for Planning (Multiple Positions)
James Madison University is a publicly funded university with a beautiful campus and a supportive community. They are seeking Temporary Conference Assistants for Planning to coordinate logistics for various conferences and camps during the summer.

Responsibilities
Work with Sponsors of assigned specific conferences/camps (approximately 10 conferences/camps per Conference Assistant for Planning)
Some conferences/camps will be assigned two planners
Coordinate all logistics of assigned conferences/camps before and during their time on campus
Meet with operations staff to convey meeting/ facility setups
Manage check in/out logistics for assigned groups; some evening hours will be required
Maintain consistent contact with assigned conferences/camps' sponsors and respond to requests
Update conferences/camps details in IRIS software
Post Camp: assist with entering accurate billing details, write group summaries, and send surveys to sponsors
Qualification
Required
Organization, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Customer service experience
Attention to detail
Experience working in a team, and/or leading a team
Experience with Microsoft Office programs, databases, or administration computer software
A valid driver's license is required for this position
