Responsibilities

Go-to-Market Strategy: Enhance, Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to increase market share in urgent care, primary care, and pediatric clinic markets
Direct Sales & Account Acquisition: Serve as the lead salesperson in the field. Proactively identify and engage prospects. Close new customer contracts consistently, meeting or exceeding quarterly targets. You’ll take ownership of the entire sales funnel, from lead generation to negotiation and deal signing
Market Expansion & New Business Development: Continuously explore new territories, market segment and channel and marketing partnership opportunities. This might involve traveling to conferences or clinics across different regions, and developing referral networks. You will test out different sales channels (direct outreach, distributor channels, strategic partnerships) to figure out what scales best
Build & Lead a Sales Team: Work with leadership to recruit and onboard more sales representatives to amplify our growth. This includes, interviewing candidates, and training new hires. You will mentor these reps, set their targets, and manage their performance. Putting in place the structures for success having well-oiled sales machine – sales territories, incentive plans, and a positive, driven team culture
Sales Operations: enhance and reblvamp established sales operations and processes including modern CRM and latest AI tools to generate and trackleads. opportunities, and customer interactions
Maintain an organized pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts to the CEO. Develop sales collateral (with help from ourmanufacturers) such as pitch decks, product FAQs, ROI calculators for our test, etc
Ensure all activities are documented and repeatable, creating a playbook that future team members can follow. You’ll also outline the sales KPIs (e.g., weekly outreach numbers, conversion rates, revenue per month) and report on these metrics in leadership meetings
Partnerships & Channel Development: Identify potential channel and marketing partners that can help sell or distribute our products
Negotiate partnership agreements or reseller deals where appropriate
Feedback & Strategic Input: Act as the voice of the customer and field expert. Gather and share feedback from conversations and deployments – what do clinic customers care about, what objections come up, how do our test solutions fit into their workflow? For new feature development. Refine pricing strategy, marketing messages, and overall company strategy

Required

Background in Medical/Healthcare Sales: 10+ years of B2B sales in medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare services, ideally selling to clinics or hospitals
Deep knowledge of healthcare purchasing cycles and proven experience with urgent or primary care markets
Proven Sales Success: Documented record of exceeding targets and driving growth
Skilled in launching new markets or products and scaling business in dynamic environments
Leadership & Team-Building: Natural leader excited to grow and mentor a sales team
Hands-on, collaborative, and able to build structure while inspiring performance
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Resourceful and proactive self-starter who thrives in fast-changing, lean environments
Treats the business as their own
Existing Network: Strong relationships with urgent-care, primary-care, and pediatric decision-makers
Able to leverage existing contacts to accelerate sales momentum
Channel knowledge: hospitals, community health, government contracts etc
Communication & Sales Skills: Persuasive communicator and consultative seller
Adept at explaining technical products, handling negotiations, and tailoring messages to diverse healthcare audiences
Motivation & Drive: Relentlessly goal-oriented and resilient
Balances ambition with integrity—driven to win while always putting client trust first
Willingness to Travel: Able to travel regionally (~30%) for client visits, trade shows, and pilot programs; flexible for occasional overnight trips
Education: Bachelor's in Business, Life Sciences, or related field required; MBA preferred but not mandatory
