Responsibilities

Support operations teams directly by being the first technical point of contact for production disturbances, unblocking production issues & finding structural solutions to prevent their recurrence
Process defective material for engineering evaluation to determine path forward
Modify shop orders to enable continuous production execution
Develop & Improve troubleshooting documentation for production test hardware
75% of time will be spent on-the production floor working with technician teams to solve all types of technical blockers, from test report reviews, defect material triage, ERP blockers, etc
25% of time will be spent performing independent development work such as performing data analysis on disturbances, improving troubleshoot documentation, etc

Required

Manufacturing Environments & New Product Introduction
Root Cause Analysis Techniques such as Fishbone, Fault Tree, DMAIC, etc
Electrical System Design & Metrology
Familiarity with Low Rate Manufacturing Environments & New Product Introduction
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices & principles
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication and writing skills
Experience with Mechanical Design and Failure Analysis

Preferred

SAP or similar ERP software
NX Unigraphics of similar CAD software
Aerospace &/or Optical Manufacturing
Python Programming Language
Fiber Optic Systems
Statistical Analysis Software such as Minitab
