Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations performed by Staff Accountant, A/R, and A/P teams
Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and closing processes
Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other financial reporting requirements
Coordinate internal and external audits and liaise with external accountants and auditors
Implement and maintain financial controls, policies, and accounting best practices
Provide regular financial reports, analysis, and insights directly to the CEO
Support leadership with financial data for operational and strategic decision-making
Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency within accounting operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting or finance roles
At least 2 years' experience in a management or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial compliance standards
Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle-based systems preferred) and Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities with accuracy
English required
Strong ability to work with financial data, including budgeting, forecasting, percentages, ratios, reconciliations, and financial analysis
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and reports accurately
Ability to define financial issues, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions
Ability to solve practical accounting and compliance problems and interpret financial policies, procedures, and regulations
