Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations performed by Staff Accountant, A/R, and A/P teams
Supervise the general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and closing processes
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for review by management
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial reporting requirements
Support internal and external audits and coordinate with external accountants and auditors
Support the implementation and maintenance of financial controls, policies, and accounting best practices
Prepare financial reports, analysis, and supporting documentation for review by the CEO and senior leadership
Provide financial data and supporting documentation to assist leadership with operational planning and decision-making
Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency within accounting operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting or finance roles
At least 1–2 years' experience in a supervisory or lead role
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial compliance standards
Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle-based systems preferred) and Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities with accuracy
English required
Strong ability to work with financial data, including budgeting, forecasting, percentages, ratios, reconciliations, and financial analysis
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and management reports accurately
Ability to define accounting issues, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions
Ability to solve practical accounting and compliance problems and interpret financial policies, procedures, and regulations
