Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable software solutions that automate security verification processes, eliminating manual toil for builders and application security engineers
Lead technical architecture decisions for Service Profiles, ensuring solutions are technically sound, operationally performant, and highly maintainable
Mentor peers and collaborate across teams to drive adoption of security automation best practices while maintaining high coding standards
Develop innovative approaches to modeling and documenting security posture of Amazon services, creating systems that scale with the increasing pace of development
Balance technical excellence with practical implementation, ensuring solutions address immediate needs while establishing foundations for future security automation
Qualification
Required
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Preferred
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
