InternThe Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts is seeking an Internal Audit Intern for a summer position. The intern will assist with the implementation of the agencywide risk assessment, including assessing survey responses and conducting interviews, while gaining hands-on experience with audit tools and processes.

Responsibilities
Prepares the TeamMate risk assessment survey and agencywide supplemental questionnaire
Interviews Texas CPA staff to gain information about the weaknesses and the extent of risks from the current and revised controls
Computes results, prepares presentation documents and presents the results of the annual risk assessment to Internal Audit Management and/or Executive Management
Performs other audit related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as a senior at an accredited college/university or a recent graduate within one year, with major coursework in accounting, finance, economics or mathematics
Professional or academic experience assessing internal controls
