Responsibilities
Support Senior Designers in implementing brand design standards and concepts
Assist in managing multiple small-scale design projects across various grocery banners
Help coordinate with internal and external design partners
Apply site-specific conditions and standards to store designs
Support the development of FF&E and Décor packages
Create and maintain design development documentation
Prepare presentation materials for cross-functional teams
Assist in the development of Schematic Design Packages
Support Construction, Procurement, and Operations Teams by providing technical documentation
Help maintain project documentation and drawing archives
Assist in design plan approvals, uploads, and reviews
Leverage building and health code knowledge to design solutions
Communicate design details effectively through visual, written, and verbal formats
Manage assigned project tasks with attention to detail and deadlines
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of retail experience
Preferred
Knowledge of Adobe design programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
Knowledge of design process
Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite
Grocery retail experience
Experience with basic construction administration tasks
