2+ years expHolder Construction is currently seeking a Field Engineer Technician to support our Field Supervision in Hampton, GA. The ideal candidate will operate surveying instruments and provide primary support to field supervision while maintaining professionalism and critical thinking.

Responsibilities
Operating electronic total station instrument, transit, Auto-level and other surveying instruments
Sets and marks stakes for slopes, grades and other construction purposes
Determines and sets markers
Determines lines, corners, elevations, grades, alignments, angles, positions, and distances
Maintains total station and field book
Maintains survey equipment and tools
Provide primary support to our field supervision
Demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks
Maintain professionalism
Use critical thinking to solve issues
Qualification
Required
2 years of construction/surveying experience using total station and site levels
High school diploma/GED
Complete understanding of surveying math
Good communication skills
Agile/mobile
Remain alert
Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
Use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects
Climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects
Work on uneven surfaces/heights
Ability to read/write
Ability to see & hear well either naturally or with correction
Ability to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50 lbs., 75% of the time
Ability to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment
Ability to work outside
Ability to work overtime and weekend hours
Punctuality and promptness are required every day
