Dole Food Company is seeking Case Erectors to support operations in their Box Room. The role involves operating a box making machine and ensuring a clean and safe production environment while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Food Processing

Responsibilities

Operate the box making machine and supply it with flat stock
Transport pallets of box stock with pallet jack
Maintain the area clean
Make boxes manually
Replenish glue dispenser
Data entry for changeover
Must have the ability to be present at work on time, follow directions and interact well with co-workers
Employees must adhere to all policies, practices, and SOP’s related to producing Safe Quality Food (SQF)
Ensure the integrity and continued operation of the food safety system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities
Support special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualification

Box making machine operationProduction equipment experienceFood manufacturing experienceData entryPPE protocol adherence

Required

Experience working with equipment in a production process
Should be able to read and work in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to work overtime including weekends as required
Ability to work in cold temperatures (32-35 degrees)
Willing to follow PPE protocol (hairnet, hardhat, gloves, smock/ safety vest)
Must have the ability to be present at work on time, follow directions and interact well with co-workers
Employees must adhere to all policies, practices, and SOP's related to producing Safe Quality Food (SQF)
Ensure the integrity and continued operation of the food safety system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities
Support special projects and other duties as assigned
