New Grad, Entry LevelTrinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced Unit Extender/Secretary to join their team at Mercy Medical Center. The role involves assisting physicians while providing exceptional treatment to patients and ensuring their comfort during their hospital stay.

Responsibilities
Meets/greets patients/family/visitor in a pleasant manner assisting them with comfort needs though out their hospital stay
Answers telephone calls, responds to routine inquiries, and relays messages. Responds to patient’s intercom calls and notifies appropriate personnel of patient’s request
Assembles medical charts and maintains charts by filing all necessary reports and results. Maintains confidentiality of the patient record
Assists with the coordination of patient needs for satisfaction. Orders meals, calls housekeeping, and notifies management if concerns are heard in the department
Qualification
Required
Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma/GED
Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks
CPR/ Basic Life Support certification required (AMA or Red Cross)
