Growth Management and Land Use Regional Planner
Apalachee Regional Planning Council is a governmental body serving multiple counties in Florida, and they are seeking a Growth Management & Land Use Regional Planner. This role is responsible for growth management activities including comprehensive planning, zoning, and providing technical assistance to local governments and state and federal agencies.
Responsibilities
Responsible for growth management activities including comprehensive planning, comprehensive plan amendments, zoning, land use, amendments, local public workshop support, planning grant administration assistance, and special planning project coordination
Liaising between local governments and state and federal agencies
Providing technical assistance to local governments and municipalities
Working to enhance communities throughout the Region
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a related field
Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in Urban and Regional Planning or related work
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Preferred
Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a related field
