Responsibilities
Perform month-end closing activities and assist with the review of location financial statements
Prepare monthly reconciliations of bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts
Perform account analysis and review accrual and ledger balances
Ensure adherence to established financial policies, procedures, and accounting standards
Take responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of financial records
Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits
Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries on a regular basis
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
Effectively communicate financial information to team members and department heads
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data for reporting and decision-making
Respond to inquiries and provide explanations regarding financial matters
Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that embodies the organization's family-oriented culture
Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and foster a sense of belonging
Ensure financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently to support exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders
Assist in resolving financial issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally
Collaborate with the finance team to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue-enhancing strategies
Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide recommendations for improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
