Responsibilities
Assist the Senior Director, Marketing, along with partners in Conference Program, Meetings, Media Relations, and program teams with marketing support and execution
Generate creative and relevant graphics, copy, and social media posts, supporting the NAFSA 2026 Annual Conference & Expo and additional NAFSA programs and products, aligned with brand guidelines
Assist in brainstorming and executing creative marketing tactics to promote registration, program engagement, and partner support
Support the team with engagement metrics tracking and report creation
Help organize marketing assets and member stories
Qualification
Required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented: take initiative and manage tasks efficiently
Positive service and collaborative attitude: provide excellent customer service to staff
Strong understanding of various marketing channels and social media platforms and their functionalities
Creative thinking and ability to generate engaging content
Basic graphic design skills or proficiency with design tools, including Canva
Analytical skills to interpret data and track campaign performance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Interest or knowledge in higher education and international education
Career aspirations that include social media, marketing, and project management
Interest in conferences and events
A self-starter who is eager to learn
