Responsibilities
Conduct 1-1 meetings with appropriate leadership to be able to understand business needs and provide input for potential technology related solutions
Serve as the subject matter expert in the business processes and supporting applications specifically within one or more of these areas of expertise: demand, supply chain planning, manufacturing, warehousing, shipping, inter-company order types, etc
Drive alignment of business objectives and IT priorities to maximize the business value delivered by IT. Identify innovative solutions and opportunities for improvements in area
Develop processes, standards, best practices and supporting systems in aligned areas. Translate business needs into IT demand and requirements on IT delivery
Provide information to support business cases and business prioritization of demand
Allow Process Areas to optimize the investment in IT through fact-based decisions
Provide visibility and transparency of IT costs and risks
Drive business demand to IT and delivery Services to ensure effective delivery
Progress demand according to governance and processes
Lead and take ownership of all demand within aligned process areas and ensure demand is progressed in an effective way
Ensure that business needs are translated into IT demand and then requirements on IT delivery
Manage the work to develop, communicate, anchor an IT plan and budget that is linked to the business planning in the Finance process area
Lead projects with responsibility of Project charter, Project plan, budget and delivery on target to achieve the business objectives
Communicate and promote demand process and governance within aligned areas
Escalation point for IT related issues within aligned areas
Provide visibility of delivery capacity and demand dependencies
Keep proactive control and follow up on IT cost
Provide input into forecast for IT capacity planning
Verify that IT is delivered according to expectations and business needs
Ensure business use and value realization of solutions in cooperation with business
Drive business demand to decision makers and management teams
Act as business project manager supporting IT project managers, or act as IT project manager if required according to Hyperion project methodologies
Qualification
Required
+5 years experience with ERP process configuration
+5 Years with IT Project Management, implementing IT solutions
Deep knowledge of use of Finance IT systems ERP, reporting and BI systems is a prerequisite
Travel - some international travel required
Preferred
ERP Infor M3 and IT/Business Consultancy experience would be an advantage
