Building large scale systems spanning tens of thousands of servers, across multiple data-centers worldwide
Own the design and development of significant software components critical to our industry leading database services architected for the cloud
Building rock-solid components
Mentoring other engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
Knowledge of at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl
Preferred
Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
Large distributed system design development and/or deep database expertise and/or system programming (multi-threading, memory management, sync programming)
