Sales Agronomist
GPAC is an award-winning search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States. They are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Agronomist to build strong customer relationships, provide agronomic expertise, and drive sales through tailored crop input and service solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with growers and ag retail customers within assigned territory
Provide agronomic recommendations including seed, crop protection, fertilizer, and nutrient management solutions
Conduct field scouting, soil sampling, and crop diagnostics to support customer decision-making
Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized agronomic and sales strategies
Achieve sales goals while maintaining high standards of customer service and integrity
Stay current on agronomic trends, products, and technologies relevant to the region
Maintain accurate customer records, forecasts, and reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2-3 years of experience in agronomy, ag retail sales, or related agricultural role
Strong understanding of local crops, soils, and production practices
Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
