Provide full-operational leadership for Patient Transport and Environmental Service Clerks, directly managing 48 FTEs with no supervisory layer in 24/7 environment
Own aspects of workforce management including hiring, scheduling, call-offs, coaching, corrective action, and terminations
Serve as single escalation point of nursing leadership, clinical departments, and hospital administration
Manages departmental budget, labor, productivity and expense controls; ensure operation remain within approved financial target
Ensures compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements impacting patient transport and infection-control support
Lead training initiatives, performance evaluations, accountability measures to improve service quality and staff engagement
Coordinates closely with inpatient units, EVS teams, and ancillary departments to support patient throughput, discharge efficiency, and census fluctuations
Contribute to system, hospital, and departmental performance goals through continuous improvement initiatives
