Manufacturing Engineer Intern
Times Microwave Systems is an Electronics Manufacturing company seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to assist the Manufacturing Engineering team with production projects and continuous improvement initiatives. The role provides hands-on engineering experience and requires the intern to work on-site, supporting various engineering tasks and projects.

Responsibilities
Helps develop, improve and revise manufacturing processes
Helps design and implement tooling and fixtures for effective manufacturing
Helps troubleshoot and recommend solutions for design and production issues
Analyzes cell measures and performs time studies to improve manufacturing processes
Supports purchasing, quality, test, and production departments to ensure product integrity is maintained
Supports cost justification studies and ROI for capital equipment
Supports SOW development for equipment implementation and validation
Works on other projects as assigned by the Manager
Create Coaxial Wire Stripping Programs for Mechanical Wire Stripper and Laser Dielectric removal machines
Design and Implement Automated laser distance check for cable cutting area
Qualification
Required
Graduate or currently enrolled in College or University Engineering Program
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
Extremely well-organized with superior attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask, work in a high pace environment and meet deadlines
Preferred
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks
