They are seeking a motivated State and Local Tax Intern who will assist in preparing tax returns, analyzing data, and collaborating on multi-state tax projects. This in-person internship will provide valuable experience in the SALT Department from January to April 2027.

Responsibilities
Prepare sales/use tax returns
Analyze data, perform tax research, and assist in tax planning
Collaborate on multi-state tax projects, like refund reviews, tax compliance, nexus reviews, voluntary disclosures, audit defense, and assessment appeals
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in an accounting curriculum at the rising junior level or higher (Graduating May 2028 or earlier)
Plan to pursue CPA
Minimum of 25 hours/week required
