GBC Bank is seeking a Wealth Advisor I to support senior advisors in delivering comprehensive wealth management services to high-net-worth clients. This role focuses on client relationship management, financial planning, investment analysis, and business development activities, providing a pathway to grow into a senior advisory position.

Responsibilities
Support the development of client financial plans, investment reviews, and wealth strategies
Respond to routine client requests, inquiries, and service needs in coordination with internal partners
Build trust and credibility with clients by demonstrating professionalism, responsiveness, and discretion
Conduct research, financial modeling, and investment analysis to support tailored client recommendations
Draft initial versions of proposals, financial plans, and estate or retirement scenarios under senior advisor, trust officer, and departmental manager’s guidance
Stay current on financial markets, investment solutions, estate planning concepts, and regulatory requirements
Assist in prospecting efforts by preparing materials, participating in calls/meetings, and following up with potential clients
Help maintain referral relationships with bank partners, attorneys, accountants, and centers of influence
Contribute to growth objectives by identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships across bank services
Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and compliance files
Partner with trust officers, portfolio managers, and service specialist to deliver seamless service
Support senior advisors in special projects, presentations, and client events

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred)
Working toward CFP®, CFA®, or CTFA designation encouraged
1-4 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, investments, or related financial services
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills
High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities
Team-oriented with a desire to learn and grow within the wealth management industry
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, financial planning software, and CRM platforms
Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities

Experience working directly with clients or in a support/advisory capacity preferred
