Program Manager/Advanced Analytics Insight Principal - Health Alliance Plan

Responsibilities
Uses skills in ideation, facilitation, strategic planning and relationship management to bring together multiple teams in the organization and create the overall vision, strategy alignment, scope, roadmap, business case, and cohesive plan for executing the assigned program
Maintains program metrics, milestone charts, roadmap, schedule, and reporting on project health and progress against goals
Manages the program team and supports technical and vendor teams as applicable
Develops program success KPIs, ensures program-level value is being realized, and leverages reporting mechanisms to monitor performance
Manages timing, quality, and financial results of programs from start to finish, to meet customer needs and ensure winning performance of the product and the services provided
Primary point of communication with strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills for business and IT partners for the assigned program; maintaining strong partnerships and ensuring timely and accurate communication of program updates
Leverages program documentation and action-oriented behavior to navigate ambiguity and seek clarity as priorities change
Manages risks and issues within the program and escalates to senior leadership as required
Promotes individual professional growth and development; serves as mentor and a resource to less experienced project managers
Leverages creative, 'out-of-the-box' thinking to develop original solutions to overcome roadblocks and meet or exceed project requirements and expectations
Manages post implementation support and provides post implementation project review
Support procurement processing of RFPs, Vendor Contracting, Purchase Orders, and other contract-related artifacts
Leads Agile processes and ceremonies, including stand-up meetings, backlog grooming, retrospectives and story mapping
Acts as a subject matter expert providing project management methodology consulting to program team members
Manages the program budget, including the review of financial reports, invoices, trends, and forecasts
Source and prepare complex datasets across multiple systems to support enterprise analytics initiatives. Apply advanced SQL, statistical analysis, and forecasting to inform strategic decisions
Set standards for dashboard and report design; create high-level executive visualizations that influence decision-making
Lead the creation of reports and presentations for senior leadership; translate complex analytics into business recommendations. Apply statistical concepts as needed to create deep insights
Documents process flows, relevant data flows and ensure they are monitored for accuracy and quality
Able to make decisions with little coaching or supervision
Makes recommendations for improving data assets and platforms, drives enterprise solutions to improve data quality and accessibility
Routinely participates in webinars and other educational resources to enhance understanding of current developments in healthcare environment and provides training on existing tools to all stakeholders as needed. Acts as a mentor to other team members and provides constructive feedback as necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field, required
At least five (5) years of experience in healthcare delivery, project management, and running large projects of a complex nature, required
Minimum of Two (2) years of experience in technology related areas, including application development or new product implementation, required
Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Strong presentation skills
Must be able to work autonomously with strong task management skills
Expert user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products
Write basic SQL to extract data from any data asset and databases
Able to use data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik etc
Able to apply basic statistical methods
Understanding of project management concepts and processes
Strategic thinking with a strong grasp of health insurance markets, products, and trends
In-depth knowledge of health insurance operations, claims, population health management, actuarial processes, risk adjustment strategies, and regulatory compliance
Preferred
Master's Degree, preferred
Two (2) years of experience using data to drive business decisions, preferred
Two (2) years of managed care/insurance related business, preferred
Experience with agile delivery methodologies (i.e. Scrum, Scrum at Scale), preferred
Project Management Institute Certification, preferred
