Responsibilities
You design and develop end‑to‑end test automation for Dexcom’s CGM products and ecosystem
You create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to validate product functionality across the ecosystem
You validate software configurations, functionality, and user interfaces
You document software verification protocols and risk analyses for software used in commercial products
You record, track, and manage issues in the bug‑tracking system
You analyze failures and collaborate with development teams to identify root causes
You participate in software requirements and design reviews to provide test insights
You modify test protocols as requirements change and execute regression validation
You create traceability matrices to demonstrate test coverage for all features
You write detailed test reports and regularly communicate test progress to management
You follow internal software development, cybersecurity, and validation procedures that comply with medical and security regulations
You perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
At least three years of experience in software development or software test development
A minimum of three years of experience using OOP languages such as Java and Python
Knowledge of API‑based test development
Experience with xCode and/or Android Studio
Understanding of best practices in software development and software testing
Strong oral communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Strong written communication skills and ability to follow Dexcom software procedures to produce required documentation
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 2-5 years related experience or Master's degree and 0-2 years' equivalent experience
Preferred
Experience with software bug‑tracking tools
