Restorative Practices Lead

Responsibilities
Develop, lead and oversee strategic restorative practices initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and systems-change objectives, especially those impacting historically underrepresented and underserved communities
Ensure alignment between restorative justice work and other organizational priorities for a cohesive overall experience
Oversee program implementation to meet or exceed agreed-to time frames and performance measures
Steward an inclusive climate, identifying opportunities to incorporate diverse perspectives and voices to create a learning environment founded on principles of anti-racism and social justice
Oversee change acceptance strategies and sustainability plans for key initiatives
Ensure program effectiveness is measured through data collection, analysis, and reporting. Create and track project plans, submit all program documentation and enter demographic, attendance, case notes
Develop and articulate program strategy and execution plan in terms of program outcomes required to achieve the business objective
Define program execution structure, including component projects, teams and methodologies and project management requirements
Organizing program logistics and developing partnerships. Lead collaborative efforts with team and surrounding communities with a focus on addressing racial and other health and healthcare disparities
Build restorative mindset and skills for the organization and community partners
Provide coaching, professional development, and capacity-building relating to restorative practices for staff, providers, and community partners
Qualification
Required
Formal training or education in restorative practices and principles, such as a higher education degree, certification, formal training, or internship. Applicants must provide evidence of at least 20 hours of structured instruction in restorative practices
5 years experience in restorative principles and practice, including but not limited to items listed in preferred qualifications section
5 years experience in systems change, including but not limited to items listed in preferred qualifications section
Preferred
Bachelor of Arts in Restorative Justice and Peacebuilding or
Master of Arts in Restorative Justice and Peacebuilding or
Bachelor of Science in a clinical or health-related field from an accredited institution or
Master of Science in a clinical or health-related field from an accredited institution
Demonstrated Leadership: Progressive leadership roles advancing restorative justice programs and initiatives that deliver measurable impact, or
Community Engagement & Cultural Competence: Experience working with diverse populations and cultures, fostering inclusion and equity through restorative approaches, or
Circle Facilitation & Structure Development: Skilled in leading listening and talking circles for underrepresented groups and creating organizational structures to support circle processes, or
Integration of Restorative Practices: Proven ability to embed restorative principles within organizational workflows, culture, and systems to drive sustainable change, or
Expertise in Restorative & Trauma-Informed Practices: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience initiating restorative efforts in community settings, including development and project management of trauma-informed, restorative justice best practices, or
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Proven ability to assess stakeholders, foster buy-in, remove barriers, generate collaborative ideas, and build effective partnerships and solutions across diverse groups, or
Strategic Leadership & Systems Thinking: Demonstrated skill in developing and executing strategies that align people, processes, and systems; navigating complex, matrixed organizations; and creating structures to support execution and outcomes, or
Change Management & Organizational Transformation: Experience designing and facilitating change management strategies, driving culture transformation initiatives, and challenging the status quo to identify opportunities for improvement, or
Policy & Process Development: Expertise in creating and implementing policies, workflows, and equity-focused frameworks to achieve lasting systemic change, or
Data-Driven & Resource-Aligned Decision Making: Ability to use data to identify and address systemic barriers, and apply financial stewardship principles to align resources with systemic change goals for sustainable impact, or
Clinical care delivery and operations experience, including but not limited to leading quality improvement efforts, identifying clinical opportunities to improve access, patient care outcomes, and experience, or reduce disparities, or
Understanding of the culture of clinical care delivery and the levers for change with frontline clinical staff
