This role involves supporting the financial health of UPMC by assisting with accounting and analytical activities, ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger, and contributing to financial statements and reports.

Responsibilities

Assist in gathering and analyzing data for a variety of essential management reports
Create insightful accounting analytics to meet both internal and external reporting requirements
Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying and proposing necessary corrections
Interpret financial transactions and events to support informed business decisions
Prepare and post basic monthly journal entries with accuracy and timeliness
Support administrative tasks and contribute to special projects that drive innovation and efficiency

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related business field required
OR High School Diploma/GED and two years of related work experience
