Responsibilities
Recruit, hire and train 1099 Agents in the merchant processing industry
Oversee merchant accounts in coordination with banking partners
Develop and implement organized workflows for efficient processing of merchant account applications
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to departments to maximize operational effectiveness and meet revenue/profit targets
Respond quickly to customer escalations, shipping issues, and problem resolution
Coach and manage teams to maintain high service standards and support agent and customer satisfaction
Monitor and enhance operational processes to improve overall performance
Qualification
Required
Sales experience in payment processing or merchant services
Experience recruiting and developing sales partners or agents (ISO or Agent channel experience)
Proven track record as a high performer
Strong regional market presence
Solid understanding of payment processing products such as POS systems, terminals, gateways, and integrated payments
Existing network of ISO or Agent contacts or merchant relationships
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Preferred
Experience with Fiserv Omaha & Nashville Platforms, TSYS systems, or First Data systems is a big plus
Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
