Strategy Director

The Strategy Director will shape the vision for key client relationships and develop strategic narratives that address complex business challenges, while also driving new business growth and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities
Serve as a direct strategic partner to clients, leading working sessions, presentations, and day-to-day strategic conversations with confidence and credibility
Lead brand, business, and communications strategy for a major financial services client
Develop clear, persuasive strategic narratives that translate data and insights into creative opportunity—and confidently articulate them directly to clients
Guide teams from problem definition through execution—ensuring strategy shows up meaningfully in the final work
Operate with a high degree of autonomy—able to move work forward independently, make smart decisions quickly, and maintain momentum without constant oversight
Act as a primary integrator across strategy, creative, account, and technology teams
Partner closely with Account Leadership to shape client conversations, presentations, and long-term roadmaps, while owning strategy outputs end-to-end
Bring clarity and focus to complex, fast-moving initiatives, balancing speed with rigor
Leverage Supercharger and other AI tools to uncover insights, accelerate thinking, and elevate strategic output
Push teams to rethink traditional planning models in favor of smarter, faster, more adaptive approaches
Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, data, and marketing strategy—and apply them pragmatically to client work
Play a key role in pitches and proactive growth efforts across industries
Help define Supergood’s strategic point of view and differentiate our approach in the market
Contribute to the evolution of our strategic offerings and methodologies
Mentor and develop high-potential strategists, setting a high bar for thinking and craft
Foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and constructive challenge
Contribute to thought leadership through writing, speaking, and internal knowledge-sharing
Qualification
Required
Deep experience in brand, communications, or business strategy at an agency or consultancy
Experience leading strategy for complex, high-stakes clients; financial services or other regulated categories a plus
Strong written and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complexity
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and guide cross-functional teams
Comfort using AI tools to streamline workflows and strengthen strategic output
