Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with translational scientists, biomarker leads, and procurement teams at target accounts
Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective collection opportunities across oncology, immunology, and other therapeutic areas
Draft and deliver feasibility assessments that reflect real operational capabilities and timelines
Develop pricing and quotes in collaboration with leadership
Track project progress and communicate proactively with customers throughout the collection lifecycle
Coordinate closely with our operations and broader business development team to ensure successful project execution
Travel regularly to customer sites for face-to-face meetings

Required

Deep existing relationships at East Coast pharmaceutical companies—people who will take your call
Strong experience in biospecimen sales, with emphasis on prospective clinical collections rather than catalog or biobank sales
Solid understanding of translational research, biomarkers, and the clinical contexts in which samples are used
Comfort with the details: you'll write feasibilities, set pricing, and manage project specifics, not hand them off to someone else
Proven track record of success working remotely with minimal supervision
Genuine curiosity about the science and a desire to keep learning
High attention to detail and strong written communication skills
